Look what we made!We made pot holders today. Sara Frances made hers into a purse- thanks to this handy kit!
Yes- she really made her own. I was surprised and proud of her! I just finished the edges.

Sara Frances and G.G. went to the All Around Easter Celebration at church tonight. She made this pretty flower pot there. Each flower stem has things written on them that she's praying for. They had a great time!

Earrings! That's what SF has on here. They are clip-ons. The birthday party she went to yesterday went to Claire's. They let each girl pick out a pair of clip-ons. They are a big hit. I broke down and let Sara France wear them to church. Speaking of church- Meri Alan didn' t make it! She was so droopy and then fell asleep about 20 minutes after waking up. She' s just not usually a sleepy girl. Kenneth stayed home and let her rest. Now- she's taking another nap. I think she's had too much fun lately!
We're hoping to have pretty weather for her egg hunt on Wednesday at our house. Fun times!

100 points!

We celebrated another AR day at Joyner on Friday. Carrol Trent and Sara Frances will be eating lunch out with their principal soon to celebrate 150 points!Mary Carson and Sara Frances

Carrol Trent picked out cute shirts for students who reach 100 points. The first student to reach 100 gets to pick it out. Sara Frances really loves the shirt! MC and SF wore them to the Rankin Spring Fling Friday night. It was great fun!!

Sara Frances' class made the cutest egg babies. The Easter Bunny delivered them last Wednesday to their classroom. Sara Frances named hers Eggalina. Eggalina had her first mishap at church choir Wed. night. Thanks, Mrs. Martha Ann for the band-aid! After tears were shed, we made 2 more egg babies at our house on Wed. night. Eggalina #2 has suffered a few bumps, thanks Mrs. Edwards for more bandaids! My girls are loving these babies and I think it's teaching them a lot! I wonder if octo-mom ever tried this?

Easy Parmesan Garlic Chicken

I saw this recipe on a packet of Good Seasons last week when I was making a crock-pot dish. It looked so easy I decided to try it. Kenneth hasn't eaten his yet since he's not home but the girls and I enjoyed it. Meri Alan even ate it so we WILL be having it again.

Easy Parmesan Garlic Chicken

1/2 cup Kraft 100% grated Parmesan cheese
1 envelope Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing and Recipe Mix
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
about 2 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Preheat oven to 400. Mix cheese, salad dressing mix and garlic powder.
Moisten chicken with water; coat with cheese mixture. Place in shallow baking dish.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
