Easy Parmesan Garlic Chicken

I saw this recipe on a packet of Good Seasons last week when I was making a crock-pot dish. It looked so easy I decided to try it. Kenneth hasn't eaten his yet since he's not home but the girls and I enjoyed it. Meri Alan even ate it so we WILL be having it again.

Easy Parmesan Garlic Chicken

1/2 cup Kraft 100% grated Parmesan cheese
1 envelope Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing and Recipe Mix
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
about 2 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Preheat oven to 400. Mix cheese, salad dressing mix and garlic powder.
Moisten chicken with water; coat with cheese mixture. Place in shallow baking dish.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

egg drop project

Sara Frances' class has been doing a lot of "eggs"periments at school. For homework she was to figure out a way to drop an egg off of Joyner school without it breaking. She and Kenneth were on the case! They poured Cheerios in the bottom of the bag. Then they put the egg in the middle of a Ziplock filled with cotton balls. That Ziplock was placed on top of the Cheerios. Next they put a Ziplock of Kix cereal on top (we ran out of Cheerios.) They also attached a parachute they made with a garbage bag. Here they are testing it in our den. It works here. Hope it holds up at school tomorrow.

McWane Center Field Trip

We had so much fun on Joyner's challenge field trip to McWane in Birmingham today. I'm proud I actually drove there and back today and made it! G.G., Sara Frances, Meri Alan, and I had a great time. This is Sara Frances' wonderful challenge teacher, Mrs. Willis.

The Last Day

We spent day 5 at Hollywood Studios. When the park opened we and thousands of others made a dash for the back of the park to ride and get fast passes for Toy Story Mania. It was a really fun attraction!!

Mittens, Rhino, and Bolt
We ate lunch at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.

My pics didn't turn out that great in here but it's set up like an outdoor drive-in movie but it's inside. Each family gets to sit in "car" in front of a big movie screen that shows cartoons and parts of funny horror flicks. We really enjoyed this!!

The American Idol Experience

the judges
Meri Alan is the only one of us that likes the Tower of Terror- go figure. Sara Frances and I sat this one out. Kenneth kindly rode this with her! He also took his first ride on the Rockin' Roller Coaster! The rest of us decided to do a little shopping.
the pool at our resort
After a day at Hollywood Studios we headed back for a little swimming. Kenneth took the girls to the pool while I did some packing.
