Meri Alan's Storyboard 2

Meri Alan loved getting to represent Joyner kindergarten at the city reading fair. She won first place and is really tickled!! The winners go on to Oxford to the district reading fair later in February. In her words, "I won a free trip to Oxford!" I've been told it will be a long day but I guess we'll attending. Mia Katherine looked so cute dressed as Roxie! She represented Lawhon with her great storyboard.

2010 Keyboard Festival

Last night Sara Frances was excited to participate in her third keyboard festival. It was at our home church, Calvary, this year which made it even more fun. She played O Worship the King and did a great job! Here she is with her group leader, Mrs. Flowers. We really enjoyed hearing all of the wonderful hymns!

Meri Alan's Storyboard

Meri Alan also worked hard on her storyboard last week and won first place in kindergarten at Joyner. She's going to the city competition today. She has been waiting for years to get to make one and she enjoyed every minute of it!

piano trophy

Sara Frances received her 7th piano trophy a couple of weeks ago. I'm so glad her sweet teacher gives great incentives for practicing!!

Sara Frances' Storyboard

Obviously I'm behind on blogging. Sara Frances worked hard on her storyboard in December and won 2nd place at Rankin. She was thrilled!
