Meri Alan's Class at the Christmas Tree Farm

Christmas Tree Farm

Meri Alan's class had a cold day today for the Christmas Tree farm in Hernando. She had a ball!! I was thankful to Kenneth for going with her today. She loved going to a Christmas Tree farm for the first time.

Feasting!

Here are pics from both girls' Thanksgiving feasts from school. We had lots of great food and fun!
Soon I will be posting pics from 2010 Nutcracker! It's that time of year again. Sara Frances and Meri Alan are both in it this year and are super exited!

Also, Princes Sunflower gets to stop wearing the splint on her thumb and starts hand therapy tomorrow. She's also excited about that!

Elf on the Shelf

Last weekend the girls noticed in the newspaper that the Elf on the Shelf would be visiting Reed's bookstore. I think my girls were the oldest ones there but they do love the dear old elf!!

Look Who Got Her Braces Off!!

Sara Frances was thrilled when Dr. Hodges told her yesterday she could get her braces off. She was extra excited when she found out it would be the next day. Woohoo!!
She will have to get used to her new retainers but is thankful to get a break from braces. We are proud of her for taking good care of her teeth.
When they came off it was discovered she had 4 loose teeth. She made sure she got one out before bed. The tooth fairy will be coming tonight.

Owl Pops!

Heather- The owl pops turned out cute! Thanks so much for the idea.
Meri Alan loved taking these to school today. Her class is learning about owls this week. Moon Pies are always a hit. Yum!

More scenes from Halloween...

My room was ghosted!

Sara Frances

Sara Frances was excited to receive her 9th piano trophy last week. Way to go!
Below are some fun pics from her class fall party.

Hand bells!

Last Friday we enjoyed watching Ms. Carpenter's class play the hand bells at Joyner Junction. Thanks to Jacob's grandmother, Judith, for the great pictures. We were extra proud of Meri Alan for playing hers with her left hand.
