Today we headed to Memphis for Sara Frances' eye check up. She got a great report and we had fun getting out of town for the day. I had been hearing how great GiGi's Cupcakes were so we tried them out today. Yum!!!

Cotton Plant and Gingerbread Houses

Sunday night we headed to Cotton Plant to see the lights! It's always so much fun!

On Friday afternoon after school we celebrated by making gingerbread houses. A friend told me to hot glue the houses together beforehand and let the kids decorate. This seemed to work well since the icing doesn't always cooperate.

Sara Frances had a great time at her school Christmas party yesterday. It was her first time to play Dirty Santa! What a neat idea for fourth graders. They thought it fun and it was even funny at times... Cupcakes and Coke, YUM!!!

Live From the Manger!

The girls loved being a part of Live From the Manger with Calvary's children's choir. The Christmas story was told like a news broadcast. It was wonderful! Meri Alan loved being a part of the angel choir! Sara Frances loved her role as reporter number #2, Sara Somers.

Meri Alan's Christmas Party

Nutcracker 2010

Meri Alan loved being in the Nutcracker for the first time. She can't wait for next year!

She was a great angel. Sara Frances always looks forward to the Nutcracker and loved being a soldier and a Russian dancer. Great job!!
