Happy Easter!!

We had a Happy Easter! We went to church this morning and ate lunch at GG's house ! The girls hunted for Easter treats and we ate bunny cake. Yum! The cross at Calvary is always decorated so beautifully. I love getting great pictures in front of it every year. It was extra nice having warm weather with no wind this year.

Thanks, Martha Ann for taking our family's picture. Look at this sweet bunch of friends. Cole was a good sport!

Salisbury Steak

This is a recipe that my family really loves!! I got it from Judy's blog. Thanks for sharing it. It's very yummy!!!

Salisbury Steak
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1 can French onion soup
1 egg
1 Tblsp. ketchup
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tblsp. flour
1/4 cup water
Mix meat, 1/3 cup soup(using most of onions), bread crumbs and egg. Mold into 5 or 6 patties. Brown on all sides. Mix flour with the remaining soup and pour over browned meat. Mix ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and water and pour over meat. Simmer 30 minutes or more, adding water as needed.

Easter Eggs

On Thursday evening we dyed Easter eggs!

On Wednesday...

On Wednesday morning I went to help with Meri Alan's Easter egg hunt.
Meri Alan's class
Then Meri Alan and I went to watch Sara Frances in the 3rd grade play at Rankin.
Then we headed back to Joyner for more Easter celebrating. What a fun day!

On Tuesday...

Joyner celebrated red, white, and blue day. This picture was taken at the end of the day so Meri Alan had taken off some of her accessories. She was a kindergarten winner and won one of her favorite things- a Zhu Zhu pet! Joyner is a cool school!!
I went to Rankin on Tuesday and helped with Sara Frances' Easter scavenger hunt. It was lots of fun!

Here is what we searched for. I tried to make this basket look like a nest. There was a hollowed out part of the tree on the playground that was a perfect hiding place for this nest of chicks!

At The Ballet!

Last weekend we went to the Tupelo Ballet's presentation of Giselle.
Here are sweet ballet friends with their ballet/jazz teacher, Mrs. Liza.
