She made this at preschool. How cute!!
Hello Alice!
My kids are trick or treating right now. The hayride hasn't made it back here where we live yet. It's still quiet. I thought I'd go ahead and post while I have time. I hope you all have a fun, safe and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Yummy!!
Here are a few pics from SF's school party. They partied all day with their Fall Festival with games, square dancing, bounce house...the list goes on. I went by this afternoon for their class celebration.

Homecoming Parade

Sara Frances and Liza
Lauren, one of our favorite "teenager" friends!
When it was time for school to be out yesterday, I stopped by the Joyner office, picked up our new t-shirts and we changed in the school bathroom. We then drove over to wait for the THS Homecoming Parade to start. Being in the parade was such fun! Go Joyner Dragons!! After the parade we stopped at Wendy's, ate supper then went home and prepared for Meri Alan's 7:00 soccer game. Dog tired, it was our last game of the fall season. It was a fun season and I'm proud of our girls for being good sports!

All I can say is - WOW! What a fun week so far. I'm trying to stay caught up on my blog. I took Meri Alan to Making Waves at Fairpark today. It's a wonderful event for preschoolers where Tupelo's elementary schools "show off" what they have to offer. Since Meri Alan will be attending Joyner kindergarten next year I thought this would be a great way to continue her enthusiasm and it worked. Although she was "shy " there she had tons of fun and thinks the Tupelo schools are VERY COOL!! She made crafts, played games and listened to Joyner Jubilation sing Christmas songs. I do have to add that amidst all of the fun things to do she wouldn't let us do anything until she hugged her BFF Chuck E. Cheese! Glad you were there, Chuck!

Slime Time was Calvary's Fall Family Festival. It was a GREAT time for all. I know I posted too many pictures but I just couldn't pick. There were so many fun friends, games and fellowship. Have I mentioned that we love Halloween?!

Fall Fun!

Here Comes the Ariel Bride

Little Bo Peep and Ariel the Bride
Meri Alan's favorite dress-up shoes

Meri Alan loved dressing up for ballet class today. It's such a fun tradition! She's excited about wearing her Ariel bride dress she bought at Disney World last spring. She loves playing in my veil so I let her wear it to ballet. She'll probably wear her crown to fall festival tomorrow. Thanks, Lucy Helen, for letting Meri Alan wear your pretty Ariel necklace. Halloween week is so fun!

Sara Frances Singing

The children's choir at our church that Sara Frances is a part of sang at Sunday evening service yesterday. They did a great job! Beautiful songs, excited voices!! I wish my pics weren't so dark but I want to remember how sweet they sounded.
Brr....it's getting cold here. I like it though.

AR Day at Joyner

Today was Joyner's first AR day of this school year. AR is a reading program where you read stories, take tests and earn points. At Joyner they have a quarterly program where students are recognized for reaching certain point goals. It's really fun and motivational. We also have an AR store where students can use their points earned to shop for prizes. I head up our AR store and love every minute of it. AR day is busy for us but so worth it to help motivate little readers! We're so blessed to have such a dedicated librarian at our school. Meri Alan loves going to AR day too. Get ready Joyner...this lil' crew will be there next year.
