Piano Playin' Ballerina

I know the above picture doesn't have anything to do with a piano playing ballerina. I just saw it in my files and had to post it! This is Sara Frances' 2 yr. preschool school picture. I think she had just turned 3 when this was taken. Can you believe this baby will be 8 on Saturday? Time has flown even though she' always been so growny. Miss Robyn- this is when she was in your sweet class!!

Activities around here are in full swing. SF gets out of school on Monday, eats a snack and gets dressed for her 2 hour dance class. This has taken her some time to get used to but she said she'd rather do it at once than go another day. She certainly doesn't want to leave anything out. ha! :) It's supper time when she gets home and then she does homework(luckily she doesn't have too much this year) and plays her piano. I'm so excited for her that she's having a good piano experience. She began last year. Mrs. Clayborne teaches some lessons at her school so it's not an extra place she has to go after school. Her teacher is soo kind and encouraging. SF loves that she gets to earn trophies!! She'll do anything with a trophy in her sites. She wanted me to take her pic playing Tambourine Dance, one of her favorites. I love that we were able to revive my grandmother's (Mymy) piano. It's special having it in my house. She would be so happy to see Sara Frances loving to play it!
Both girls are having fantastic years at school so far. They are always excited to go! They LOVE their teachers!!

Baby School

When Sara Frances and Meri Alan are home together playing and they aren't doing art, chances are they are playing Baby School in the playroom. They get all of the babies together and teach them all kinds of things. One day Meri Alan had drawn pictures of a caterpillar changing into a butterfly and was teaching a lesson! She is holding her newest baby, Nicholas. Meri Alan is the true baby lover but Sara Frances has really learned to love to play too. It's fun to see them having FUN together(well, most of the time, ha!)

Sunshine is a GIRL!!

Sunshine got fixed today. When I went to pick HIM up, I looked down at HIS sheet. I had marked he was a male. They had marked that out and checked female. Wow! When we got Sunshine we thought she was a girl, then the vet said it was a boy. Well, it's a girl! My girls are excited! She had her surgery at the the no litter clinic at the recommendation of Jennifer. Thanks, J. They really were super nice! Sunshine is doing great and has been up and about, even running through the house making me catch her!
On another note, my nose is red! I've told many of you that I'm treating my nose for some skin damage, precancer cells with Carac treatment. Thursday will be the 3 week mark and I'm trying to make it to 4 weeks. The first 2 weeks were really fine but became more difficult to stand over the weekend and it also became pretty firey red! I'm trying to stay around here and not scare anyone but I'm really looking forward to getting back out and about VERY soon! I've placed a link under my faves called Carac. I found a blog where a girl recorded her experience with the treatment. Hers was 3 weeks instead of 4. Also-she had to put it on her whole face and I'm just treating my nose. I am thankful just to be treating my nose and that we caught it early enough to treat this way. It's not so bad. Life is Good! :)

Meri Alan and Kenneth just left for Oxford a little while ago. Meri Alan has been begging Kenneth to take her to a game- just her! I think it's all about the snacks! No doubt, they'll have fun. I can't wait to hear all about it.
